With todays fast pace world we are all so busy.  One way to free up some time for those of us who care about our yard aesthetics is adding a sprinkler system.  They are a nice way to take care of your lawn during the summer, no more dragging hoses around and moving them every hour. They'll save you time, money and headaches.

Repairing a broken sprinkler system is another story. Basically, there are two places you can break a sprinkler system: a main line or a sprinkler head. Breaking sprinkler heads is the most common. 

As the sprinklers get older, they become likely to get stuck in the up position, leaving them vulnerable to lawnmowers and feet.  A broken head will result in extreme water wasting, high water bills and eventually dead grass, defeating the purpose of the system.  If you see a geyser a patch of over-soaked lawn or realize your system has a problem, call The Wooden Post immediately will inspect your system and correct any issue your sprinkler system may be having.

Breaking a main line or the manifold within your sprinkler system is not pleasant.  The first thing you must do is make sure to turn off the main valve to the sprinkler system, which is separate from the main shut off to the house. You want to make sure that the main valve is shut off so you do not waste water. Once this is completed call The Wooden Post so we can correct the issue.
